Hello there! Hope everyone had a wonderful Sunday! We had a great day filled with Church..home to do some last minute baking for the bake sale and Iron Chef Appetizer fundraiser at church tonight then back home to get ready for tomorrow and catch up with you all! Hope your day was a wonderful as ours!

For the remainder of the month I will be sharing projects from the Occasions Mini Catalog because this is the last month to order from it and I LOVE so many tools and sets from there! First Up is the "With All My Heart" Stamp Set along with the "Fancy Flower" Punch which is perfect to punch out the large flower image. Ya know I love punches and this one is no exception! Love it with the stamp set and with out! I also have to tell you I purchased this stamp set in the clear mount and have to tell you I really like using the clear mount stamps!

super easy card using Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo & Soft Suede. Stamped Melon Mambo Flower on Pretty In Pink and topped off with a turquoise rhinestone brad!

12x12 page done in same colors just adding in Old Olive & Whisper White. Used the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions folder on the Old Olive piece. LOVE the folder..only 7.95 and it creates such deep polka dots! White piece could be used for Journaling and there is lots of space to add your pictures!

Punch Bunny Club Projects

I know Easter is over but I have so many things to share with you and not enough time! LOL These little Bunnies were so much fun to put together! The Page was one that my Scrapbook Club friends did last month and the card was a matching one that the Stamping Club did! Scrappers can use this anytime of the year when they get to scrapin their Easter pics! To make these bunnies you will need the following punches: Lg. Oval, Sm. Oval, 1 3/8 in circle, 1/2 in circle &Trio Flower. I used the 1/4 in circle for the nose and eyes by now realized it is retired (oops..missed that!) Post in the comments if you need other suggestions for the nose and eyes. We also used the Basic Black stampin' write marker for the whiskers and details on the feet and the white gel pen for the highlights in the eyes and on the flower! On the Scrapbook page I used the Wide Oval punch and then stamped images from "A Good Egg" Stamp set for detials on the egg. This punch bunny is not my orignal idea.. there are so many creative demos out there that share their wonderful ideas! It is great to be a demonstrator for that alone!

Jersey Shore ABC Scrapbook...

Ok here is some pages from an ABC album that I was telling you about that I made for a friend. I used the retired Jersey Shore Designer paper that was in a a previous catalog. The good...no great news, is that you can get a pack of it for $3.99 over in the Clearance Section here..(.Click on shop now then Clearance section) The regular price was $9.99, so it is quite a savings! Whoo Hoo...I really love that paper...great for summer and boys!

The front page is intended to feature a picture of the subject of the album, for this one happens to be a little boy named Boston (I do realize I forgot the apostrophe, I added it after I took the pic) ..His mom can now just pop in pictures that starts with the letters on the pages...it can be of an event, a person or thing...you can make ABC books for everything & everyone. Later this week I will share the one I made for my 2 yr old daughter Shelby. She loves her scrapbook and asks to look at it all the time! I have pictures of her, events, family & friends in there. I will be offering a class in May where you can come make a complete 6x6 ABC Album. I am finalizing the details with new products from the Summer Mini Catalog! Eyelet Border Paper Flower!

I can't tell you how much I LOVE making these flowers! They are such a WOW, but so easy to make! The ladies made these at the first Stampers club a couple weeks ago and we will be making this at my next card class. Don't you just love them?! I am also in LOVE with the perfect polka dots embossing folder from the Occasions Mini, which I used on the kraft cardstock! Everyone I make turns out different and you will be amazed how the patterned paper looks when your done! These were shown at a Stampin UP Regional seminar for demos but one of my Favorite stamper blogs has a tutorial if you want to try it yourself....check out Julie's blog. If your a hand on girl like me...make sure you come to my next class.

What a Great CLEARANCE Sale!

I just wanted to say hello and let you know I have not dropped off the face of the earth! I have been scrappin and stampin but just no time to post and the Internet issues I have had did not help! Recently I helped host a scrapbooking day to help a friend raise $ for her Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. It was such a fun day. I offered a card class and was busy with that the first part of the day and then I had time to myself to get my stuff done! I finished Shelby's ABC album I have been working on here and there and then did another one start to finish for a friend! SOOOOO fun and can't wait to do again really soon!

**I am so motivated and excited!! I will start my card classes up and be offering an ABC album class in May..so watch for that! I will post samples later of what I made!

Scrapbooking & Stampin Club info...new club starting March

A few of you have asked for more information on my local clubs and it is below. New clubs are forming in March and have limited spots available....send me an e-mail @ dhelt1@juno.com for more information & questions!

**I am also considering a long distance club where you would get projects shipped to you each month and you would have a minimum order as your fee you would place on line. Please email me if interested in that.

Currently I have 3 clubs that meet each month:

Scrapbooking club: make (2) 12x12 pages each month and only "cost" is a minimum $15 order placed that month.
Mom & Me Scrapbooking Club: Moms/Adults make (2) 12x12 pages each month & the child makes 4 matching 6x6 pages. "Cost" is a minimum $25 order,
Stamping Club: make 3 cards and one 3-D/Big Shot project each month. Cost is $15 minimum order.

**Clubs meet all on the same day so you can make cards one month and Scrapbooks another! makes no difference!

Cute, Cute set from the Occasions Mini called Fox & Friends and used the scalloped square big shot die for the scalloped border. card also used some designer paper from the (yep, you guessed it) the Sale-A-Bration catalog called Welcome Neighbor designer series pad and yep it is free..all 72 6x6 sheets! whoo hoo!

This is my favorite...LOVE the Boxes #2 big Shot die...take a 6x12 sheet of cardstock, run it through the big shot and out comes the perfect box! One little strip of sticky strip on the side and it all folds together on the scored lines and wallah, a super cute box! I used the lg oval punch and acetate sheet for the "window".

Scrapbooking & Stampin Club projects for January!

Well here I am...sorry for the delay. I had some Internet problems! Some of my favorite stampers came over on Sunday & Monday for our monthly "club"meeting. These are a few of the projects we made. Before you go any further I should explain how I do my Scrapbook pages for my clubs. I design them not knowing what pictures I or my club members might put on these pages, I try to keep the pages as wide open as possible, so that we can put as many pictures as we possibly can on each page. If you don't have a bunch of photos for the page, no worries either use a large size photo and jornaling or mementos of an event!

These pages use the FREE set called Happy Moments from the Sale-A-Bration catalog! I love these presents, they have 2 of my favorites, polka-dots & stripes! I used the color combination of So Saffron, Taken with Teal, Ch. Chip, Old Olive & Rose Red. I am not very good at color combinations so I often take a look in the section of the Idea Book & Catalog. Every Designer Paper now list the colors in the pack, so I know that if Stampin Up! Says they look good together I am good!! LOL This color combo came from the Sweet Pea Designer paper in the new Occasions Mini Catalog!

These pages use the new Sending Love Specialty Designer paper from the Occasions Mini Catalog along with the new Epoxy Brads! OHHHH...I am in love with both! When use this paper you do not need much else because it is sooo beautiful. It has glittery designs on on side of All the papers in the pack. i can not tell you enough good things about it. I think over 1/2 the ladies from the scrapbooking club ordered, and I know one ordered 2 packs! I used the 1 3/4 in, 1 3/8 in & 1 in circle punches to create the paper rosette. We then used a new Real Red Epoxy Brad in the center. These Rosette are beautiful and so easy to make. Perfect thing to use your scraps for!

The 6x6 pages featured here are what the girls made from the Mom & Me Scrapbooking Club I have. They used the cute little monkey from the new Ocassions Mini set called Fox & Friends along with the full heart punch and scalloped square punches.

Hello there...seems like forever since I have posted. Never fear...I have been stamping but have not been sharing on here like I use to! I was really busy during the fall and Christmas time doing some craft shows/vendor events and also stamping gifts. I gave lost of handstamped & handmade gifts this year!

I spent every free moment this weekend stamping with my new goodies from the Occasions Mini catalog and my FREE Sale-A-Bration stamp sets and tools! It was so much fun and I can not tell you how EXCITED I am about this new Mini...my wish list is miles long, not much I don't want in there...good thing I have til the end of April to get it all! Autumn Days and Fun Weekend~

I had such a fun weekend!! Started out Friday night stamping and laughing the night away with my awesome friend Melissa! She came over to keep me company while I stamped my samples for the next days demonstration on the baby wipe techinique and I even talked her in to doing some swap cards for me! Thanks a bunch Melissa, we had a great time! On to Saturday...woke up early and hurried over to our demonstrator get together where we learned 10 new techinques and got to try them all! I presented the baby wipe techinique and the others were oh so much fun to do! Plus, I got to catch up and have a good time with my Stampin Up! Family of demos! Nothing bettter than, learning new techniques, getting new ideas, chatting with friends and STAMPING all at the same time! I have some samples for you from that day...first up are two of my baby wipe technique samples from Saturday.......

The stamp set is Autumn Days and it is new in the Idea Book and Catalog. I used Chocolate Chip and a new incolor, dusty durango ink & paper. I also used some of the fabulous dusty durango polka dotted ribbon! I just can't get enough of that stuff!!! Don't forget I am offering samplers of this over in my store...click here for info!

Next up is a sample from my fellow demonstrator and a member of my downline, Sandi Dailey. She made this beautiful sample as part of her presentation on the dry debossing technique. Circle Circus Fun!

Circle Circus is one of my favorite sets from the new catalog...I love circles and polka dots and anything in between! A circus feels like where I have been over the weekend! Started 5:30 am Saturday getting ready and heading out to the local Pancake breakfast to do a bake sale with my cheerleaders and then my daughter Taylor signed up for the entertainment portion. She loves to sing and has been taking vocal lessons since early spring. She sang, You Belong with Me by Taylor Swift in front of probably the entire town..I was a proud mama and still am...here is a link to her...Keep in mind she is only 10...the courage she has...she had NO nerves! LOL

after that we headed to a birthday party, then to get Shelby's blood draw then finally home! Shew! Sunday was no lighter...started out with a family reunion then the ladies come over for scrapbook club! Then again for a Monday session!! See what I am saying? Crazy like a Circus! I love it though...I don't' know what I would do if I wasn't busy!

This card was totally cased from another demonstrator..Which then gave me inspiration for my scrapbook pages!

These were the scrapbook pages the ladies made at the Scrapbooking Club this month! Moms do the 12x12 pages and the girls do a matching 6x6 page. These are real simple pages....all they have to do is go home and drop their pictures in! I can't wait to go through my pics and fill this page in!WE used new In Colors..Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry along with an old stand by, Chocolate Chip!

Last but not least...we made this at my New Catalog Open house last week! This uses Bermuda Bay and Basic Black...topped off with a Rhinestone brad!

Well long time no post! I won't bore you with the details but I have been out of commission with Shelby's illness in June and my Kidney problems in July! I have been stamping still, it is such a joy to do!...just no time or energy to post! I am back and super excited about the new catalog and all the cool things it brings! I will be back to posting more regularly and can't wait to show you some cool ideas! I am getting my classes around and can't wait to see you at the next party!

Speaking of parties.....I had my New Catalog Open House and Retired Stamp party on Tuesday! Everyone had a blast shopping from my retired items and even more fun picking their free stuff from the catalog! Thanks for coming ladies!

Here is a cute bucket I stole from my daughter Taylor....She rec a gift in it for her birthday(thanks Heather) and it was just sitting around her room..so I washed it and purchased one of our new Definitely Decorative home decor products called "Eat" and put it on there...I love how it turned out! I finished it off with some new Bermuda Bay polka dot ribbon! I can't wait to get my walls painted and get some on them!

Hello! I have been MIA for a bit....but I did want to let you know I am still around....we have had a family emergency. My youngest Shelby was admitted to the hospital on Thursday...They have diagnosed her with ITP, which is a blood disorder where her body basically kills of her platelet cells in her blood. Her Platelet count was down to 9000 so it was really dangerous. We didn't know what was wrong with her...she had been brusing easily and alot over the past month or so which concerned me so I took her in and they did blood test to check her out. This is what they found and let me tell you I was freaking when the dr called me and told me I need to take her to the ER asap but doing better now that I understand what it is and she has had a sucessful treatment for it...so needless to say we have been at the hospital til today which didn't leave much time for stamping or thinking really...I am exausted but will be back later this week after I catch up on everything else! Here is a cute picture of my sweet Shelby from the hospital...she has to wear a helment til her platelets come up so there is no chance of a brain bleed if she hits her head! She actually likes it! So I will be back with some more ideas and such soon! to those who were planing on attending the 5 for $5 last Friday that I had to cancel on...I will be rescheduling it...

Well as I suspected I was not able to stay up last night and today was not very productive either! I can't remember a day I layed around and did just about nothing! I think I am on the mend though but I couldn't muster up energy to do much of anything today! I did however find some samples to share with you of some of my favorite stamps that are on the Last Chance list you can find here. Enjoy and don't let these get away...after June 30th they are gone forever!

This one uses Great Grad...I love this set and made many of these gift card holders for upcoming open houses because all graduates want cash of course! I will also be using this set for some scrapbooking of my sons Kindergarten Graduation and my nephews album! Don't let this one get away...I am told there is no new Graduation Set replacing this one in the new catalog! Defiantly a keeper! Click here to see the set.

This is the current Ronald McDonald Charity set that is on the list. I have to say this was the 1st one I LOVED. Why do you ask.....because it fit in the scalloped edged square punch perfect! That about sums it up! I was up late last Wed, way too late I might add, working on these gifts for teachers, bus drivers and aids at the kids school as an end of year thank you. But you know, that this how I roll.. LOL I had a ton of fun making these and using all the designer paper. You can see my origianl post here along with some additional pictures of the inside. All the bags included (4) 3x3 note cards & envelopes and the other pocket held some candy, chocolate of course! I used the All Ovals set along with the Lg Oval and Scalloped Oval punch on all the bags and cards. This set and the designer paper made it sooo easy to whip these up! I really love the set, it can be found in the Occasions Mini catalog along with the scalloped Oval Punch. I really think it is a must have set...I took a picture of all the designs I made to share with you.... I hope to be able to stamp tonight if I can stay up. My stamping time is after everyone goes to bed but unfortunately I have a bad cold and might not make it. I know...who gets a cold in June right? Lucky me.... You will probably have to click on the pictures for a bigger one or to see detail...I made them small so they wouldn't take up so much space! Enjoy!

This set uses the Pink Pirouette DSP along with the Daisy Big Shot die with a ch chip corduroy button in the middletwith some pink grosgrain ribbon !

Remember this page that was featured on the post for my last scrapbook class? I couldn't remember where I found the inspiration for it and I am sooooo glad Rochelle at http://www.stampingwithrochelle.com/ let me know today she was where I found my inspiration! I loved this page and did it from memory, but it looks like I came pretty close to her original you can see here! I always want to give credit where credit is due! You should pop over and check out the rest of her creations, she is an amazing stamper! I changed a few things from hers but you can see from hers why I loved it! I so LOVE scrapbooking and looking and drawing inspiration from other scrapbookers! Not only did it inspire my scrapbook page it inspired 6x6 pages and a card! I love it!

For the card I used a summer sun corduroy button but for the scrapbook pages I punched out a circle in summer sun and added crystal effects to the circle and then covered in micro beads for the center of my flower! so many possibilities with this Big Shot die!

All Ovals, All Holidays and Designer Series paper organizer

Before I head off for my day of doctors appointments and hair cuts and girls scout trip (wonderful day off right?)...I thought I would start the day with these cards! These were really easy cards made simple by our beautiful Designer Series Paper! It takes all the guess work out of it!
First up is this awesome fathers day card. I always struggle with masculine cards, I have a hard time with them...I decided to go check out what was in my Designer Paper bin and found some scraps of Urban Garden so I used that, then stamped the Happy Fathers Day from the All Holidays set I got FREE as my reward during Sale-A-Bration this year! Yep I said I got it FREE! Actually this year I was able to choose 5 stamp sets of any price for FREE! It is GOOD to be a demonstrator! :) I finished up this with a scrap of Kiwi kiss ribbon! The designer series paper sampler is PERFECT for cards like these! Don't miss out on getting one for endless possiblities for your projects!

This one uses the Bella Rose Designer Series Paper. It is so beautiful and one of my favorites. I used a 4x4 piece of the paper and cut a strip of Kiwi Kiss cardstock for the top and used my Eyelet Border punch along the bottom of that piece. Tied some Riding Hood Red taffeta ribbon around the top and finished off with the All Ovals Stamp set along with my Lg Oval and new Scalloped Oval punch!
Here is a close up of the All Ovals Stamp set. I stamped it in Riding Hood Red and punched it out with the Lg Oval then put some crystal effects over the butterfly and words. You may have to click on the picture to get the full effect

Last but not least I wanted to share with you something I did last weekend when I was cleaning up my office and work area. I had a mess of Designer Series paper on my table. I have paper keepers like this one all over but I am always in a hurry and just leave them when I am done. So I came up with this! I am so excited..Ia m not claiming this is my original I prob ally seen it somewhere and stored it in the back of my brain somewhere for future use! Who knows! But anyway I felt like a genius!

Here is what I did. I took the cardboard insert that comes with the designer series paper and punched our the information on the back with my 1 3/4 in circle punch. then I took some sticky strip and adhered it to the top! Hopefully the the picture gives you a good idea...if not let me know and I can explain more!

Scrapbooking

Well I appoligise for my abscense.. I was on a role. The school year is coming to an end and I just have been soooo busy! Memorial weekend was very productive though! We did not go anywhere really so one night I spent scrapbooking and cleaning my office (not in that order!) I was really productive! I got 6 pages done...I know your impressed right? Well I have to confess they were not f rom scratch....I went through my pages I created for my scrapbooking club and put picutres on them! It felt so good to just sort through the pics and adhere on the page...felt very productive. I even went back and jouraled on some pages I had not done yet. I use to alwasy leave that becuase I didn't like my handwriting but have decided that in itself is an heirloom! My aunt found some things my grandma wrote and I loved seeing her handwriting! So here are some pages

This is one of my sweet baby Shelby at 9 months. I used some Sweet Always designer paper(DSP) to make it all work. I covered a piece of chipboard with some of the same paper. I love how it all goes together! You can't go wrong with DSP!

Here is a great page that I just added pictures to. This page was created by a fellow demonstrator Melissa Roberts. last year some fellow demonstrators did a scrapbooking swap and this is one of the spreads I received in the swap. Great itsnt' it? This is only one perk of being a demonstrator or purchasing the kit!
These were some pictures from a long time ago...I am guessing about 6 years ago..I still need to figure that part out. The page uses some Urban Garden Designer Series paper and then I did some journaling with a white gel pen (love those things!)on a top note cut from the Big Shot. I used a corduroy button from the 1st embellishment sampler I did. I love a having a few of each of the embellishments to try out, it has worked out perfect! Some I have went and bought full packs of because I love them so much (like the rhinestone brads and corduroy brads!)

Designer Series Paper Double pocket bag FUN!!

Ohhhh.....I had so much fun playing this weekend!!! This is one of the extra projects the card club ladies got to make this month! Isn't the cutest! I am so addicted to making them.....I had never tried them before but they are so easy! What is it called you ask? It is called a double pocket bag. I didn't come up with it but have seen other demonstrators make them and had to try them for my self! A deffant perk of being a demonstrator all the fun ideas other demos share! It is made from 1 sheet of 12x12 Designer Series Paper( I used a sheet from the Pink Pirouette Prints Pack) and a series of scoring and adhering! Isn't it WONDERFUL! So much better IRL! What do you do with it you ask? Why you can do anything you like with it! Kidding...but I personally think it would be great year end gift for teachers with some 3x3 note cards in one side and candy in the other? Or you could fill it with girly things for a little girls birthday...the possibilities are endless really! Have any ideas for it? Leave them in the comments!

Teacher Appreaciation and more Designer Paper samples!

Well it is Thursday which some of you know is my day off from my other job at the Chiropractic office. So today we are off first thing to go get a hair cut for my son Julian then after I get back I am going to go do a bit of stamping to get ready for my card class next week so I can post some samples and then I am off to lunch with one of my bff's Jackie! I am so looking forward to it...we have been friends since we were 10 I think. We met at a Cake Decorating Club for 4-H, we would have probably never known each other if we didn't meet there even though we lived only about 3 miles away from each other! Anyway..I do have some things to show you today that I wanted to post last week!
Last week was teacher appreciation so my friend Susan was telling me about a really cute idea she found somewhere on the net. They took a hand sanitizer bottle and peeled off the front and back and put stickers on it and decorated it cute. Well I don't own any stickers but I thought Stampin Up! rub-ons would be PERFECT! I loved how easy they were and they took me about 2 min to do!

Aren't they cute! I used the Summer Love rub ons from the new Occasions Mini on the one on the left and some rub ons from the Perfect Day package that can be found in the main Idea book and catalog on page173. Best thing of all about Rub-Ons is they can be used on anything you can get to stand still long enough to apply them! they go on cards and scrapbooks but also things like the bottles and glass picture frames, wood, anything really! I am going to experiment tonight with Taylor's softball glove tonight. So many girls have the same glove(it is pink and black...go figure) and we were thinking of something that could set her's apart besides writing on it with a sharpie.... I will let you know how it goes!

Next up is a cute post it note holder the Stamping Club made last month! We used the Walk in the Park Designer paper to cover it and for the Big Shot Butterfly! I cut some of the hard cardboard that comes in the Designer paper and cut that to the size I wanted and then cut some designer series paper to fit. We then used the Stampin Up glue stick to adhere to the cardboard. We then used the Big Shot to cut the butterfly with the Beautiful Butterflies Die. We tied some pretty in pink grosgrain around the center of the butterfly and adhered with a Stampin Dimensional. Then to finish it up, we used some rub ons from the Summer Love pack in the mini catalog to add the word friend and the lines above and below it....

After it was all put together we added a magnet to the back using some Crystal Effects to adhere the magnet to the project... I LOVE Crystal Effects....it adds dimension to your stamped images but it also is a great strong adhesive for things like magnets! Just let it set for about 10 min! What do you think? I love it! I am officially over the hording phase with my rub ons...I am going to use, use, use them til I have to buy more! I loved them as soon as they came out but found myself hording them waiting for the "perfect project" to put them on.....but I found any project was perfect! Are you a hoarder?.....I know you are so stop and use them! :)

Alice In Wonderland Stampin Up Style!

I'm back! We have had a busy past week! First up was my daughter Taylor's play...She was Small Alice in a local youth production of Alice in Wonderland over the weeekend! These kids worked so hard for 2hrs a day/4 days a week for the past 6 weeks! They were fantastic!

First picture was her doing her part with the Caterpillar and the second pic is of her with the "girls of the golden afternoon" It was an awesome play..I couldn't have been more proud of her! All the kids really! In 2 nights there were 1000 people who came to see it!

Which brings me to my next topic...I will show you what I made for the Director, assistant director and music director. I volunteered after the show to make something to give to them at the cast party the next night so I spent Saturday afternoon making these little memory books... Not my norm, but it had to be fast. So I took the pictures I took at dress rehearsal and the night before and uploaded them to be printed out. Then I had some of those in expensive plastic albums you can get at Wal-Mart or the Dollar store and made an autograph page for each of the pictures I included. I tried to get pictures of all the cast and I think I did a pretty good job considering there was 43 kids in the play. Here is what I came up with...keep in mind I made it up as I went and was on limited time....

So this is what I was up too...this week brings softball and soccer practice and the last 2 soccer games! I am rescheduling the card class I had on my calender for this Thursday and rescheduling to next Thursday...watch for the info on that and a sample! Thanks for letting me share with you!

Salt Shaker Picture Holder

Oh My! Tuesday ALREADY! Wow! How time flies! This is such a busy week! We had cheerleading sign ups tonight for the youth football cheerleading! As much as I love Spring and Summer and dread the winter I love Fall football and cheerleading! I will be coaching the 5th and 6th grade cheerleaders next year! I am really looking forward to it belive it or not! Anywho....On to the stamping right? This project was inspired by my upline, Jan Wakeland, she has such awesome ideas! As soon as I seen hers I knew it would be perfect for a birthday present for my daughters friend! I ran out to the local Family Dollar and purchased some salt and pepper shakers. Jan's was much simpler than mine but I love how it turn out...this was one of the projects I pictured one way and came out another! Let me first share the pictures with you and then give you some details...

Is this not the CUTEST(Click on the pic for a better view)! Here is a funny story maybe you can relate to!

I started to make this last Friday night when my friend Melissa came over to stamp. I was making it for my daughters friends Birthday which was the next day. I thought I had everything I needed to make this project but found that the wire I had was to flimsy to hold anything. I need floral wire to make it work so the nearest place to get that was about 30 minutes away so it would have to wait til Saturday. So Saturday was super busy, my son had soccer so I had to send Taylor (my oldest) with a friend to even make it to the Birthday party. After soccer, I raced to the local craft store and purchased some floral wire. I had to finish this project in the car!!!!!!!!!!! I brought my wire tool from the crafters tool kit to cut the wire with and wrapped the ends around a marker top(was all I could find that was round and the right size...it was perfect!) and inserted in the top of the salt shaker. Put it in the gift bag I brought and attached some $ on one of the flowers and stuffed the top with some tissue paper to cover the gift.....then raced to the movie theatre where the birthday party was taking place...... Shew...made it in time! I even had time to spare before the girls got out of the movie! Then it dawned on me......I wouldn't have a picture to share with you! so I whipped it back out of the bag and sat it on the table in front of the gift bag and started taking pictures! The staff at the theatre must have thought I had lost my marbles! What was the wacky lady doing taking pictures of that at the theatre! LOL If they only knew......... Now you know your not alone (I know I can't be the only one..right???? Please tell me I am not...)...

Stampin Supplies:
I wrapped the shaker with a strip of Tea Party DSP then took my sticky strip and ran it around the bottom of my Tea Party DSP and covered it in Fine Cosmo Orchid glitter. Then Cut out a B and 3 flowers with my Big Shot for the stems (used the Go Go Boots alphabet and Cherry Blossom Embosslit Dies). I also added a 5/16 Jumbo brad in each of the middle of the flowers too! Love these new brads (you can get a sample of them in the Embelishment Sampler). I used some jumbo celery grosgrain ribbon around the top to hide the shaker part better. The Stems are sliver floral wire and I looped the ends around a couple times tight in order to make a place to slip a picture in to hold. I hid this part with the Cherry Blossom flowers that I attached to that part with Mini Glue Dots...

Pretties Bookmark Card and Pretties Share

Oh my....I totally forgot to put the picture in my last post! Thanks to Dennelle and others who let me know...I would have figured it out eventually! LOL I would have posted the picture yesterday but we had a super busy Saturday with soccer game, then a birthday party for one of Taylors friends(wait til you see what I made her!), then my hubby and I went out for a date night! Whoo Hoo...they don't happen often enough but it was nice! We went to Applebees for dinner then to the movies and seen Fast and Furious.....Good movie...
On to the stamping (which I have done a lot this weekend!)
Here is the matching card from the last post with the scrapbook page:

This turned out pretty using the flower from the Pretties Kit...I had never played with it before (I know...can you believe it?) So I busted them out for us all to use at club! We used the same Tea Party DSP on the front then added a flower from the Pretties Kit(colored it with So Saffron Ink and a sponge dauber) and punched a circle from the 1" circle punch for the center then instead of using the half backed pearl in the center I tied some of the new Organza Ribbon (pg 179) in a knot and adhered with a mini glue dot.... Now for the inside we decorated it with some more of the Tea Party DSP, some Organza Ribbon and stamped and embossed the butterfly from a New set from the Occasions Mini, Great Friend. Such a beautiful set! We then took the perforation tool from the Cutter Kit (awesome tool, everyone should have one!) and perforated it along the decorated part so it could be tore off for a bookmark! This one will go to my mom since she loves to read like me! I still have to make one for my hubby's mom (better get busy)!

Well I am off to enjoy this beautiful day God has given us here in Michigan! The sun is shining, the birds are chirping and we are headed out to the mall (J Bucks at Justice are expiring today) and then to the park with the kids! My husband took the day off to head off on his chopper to the Blessing of the Bikers with his friends, so the kids and I will enjoy the day shopping and playing!

I love Fridays and this one was no exception! I of course worked today and we were super busy! I picked up pizza on the way home and the kids love the treat! Taylor had 2 girlfriends over to stay the night so they kept me busy...but the favorite part of my day was tonight when my friend Melissa came over to stamp with me.... I always love company and we had fun catching up...she brought over some beautiful cards to share with me which I will share with you soon! I also made a super cute photo hold from a salt shaker of all things! I don't quite have everything I need to finish it but will share with you tomorrow after I make my trip to get some floral wire! I can' wait to share that with you!

This beautiful Page uses the Tea Party Designer Series Paper. It is so beautiful and it has so many different designs from floral to stripes! What is so perfect about the Designer Series Paper is you never have to wonder what colors look good together! Stampin Up has done all the work for you and just follow the colors in the papers! This was a page the ladies in the Scrapbook Club made this month! We also had fun using the new Eyelet Border Punch along the bottom as well as the beautiful Pretties Kit (flower in the middle) We dyed the flower white with some ink on a sponge dauber! So pretty! We added a scalloped Circle from the Big Shot to tie it all together. They had the option to stamp and heat emboss with words from the Wonderful Favorites Stamp Set(pg 133) , which is great for Scrapbooking!

I can't wait to add some pictures of my mom on here as soon as she gets back from sunning herself in Arizona this Winter! We call those type of people Snow birds around here! They are all flocking back now that the weather is warming here in Michigan......as you can tell I am jealous of them I wish I could go somewhere warm for the winter!

We had a big group Stampin Up get together last Saturday! It was super fun and I learned so much! The focus was on techniques and I was asked to show the Dazzling Diamond Dust technique.. some of you may remember when I did the tutorial on this blog a long time ago (you can find it here ), I love this technique. It is easy, fast and creates a lot of wow with little effort! That may sound lazy but truth is I am probably just like you...limited stamping time! So I want the biggest bang for my efforts!

Kids Class was a blast and Kits Left

Well the Spring Break Kids class was a blast! I had 10 kids come and we had so much fun! I love to stamp and create with kids! Below are all the projects they made. The projects were the same but they had some choice for colors and designer paper.

Here are some close ups of the projects the kids made. They all were a little different colors except the cards. The boys did the ninja turtle card and all the projects in boy colors! I didn't get pics of their projects before they left though!

Kids/Teen Spring Break Class!

Looking for something to do for Spring Break with the kids? Join me next Thursday, April 9th from 9:30am -11am or Friday, April 10th from 7pm to 8:30pm for a fun Kids/Teen Stamp Class! Kids will stamp and make new friends or bring a friend!

For $10 per child/teen they will each make 5 awesome projects including a mini scrapbook(pictured right), a book mark, a covered note pad/journal, a cute card made with punches and a surprise project! They will also rec a snack at the end! There will be project/colors for boys too!

Cheep Talkin'

Been another long week for me personally! I won't bore you with the details but I have Crohns Disease and it decided to make a presence back in my life after living without for 5-6 yrs! Never heard of it? Your probably lucky :) but to bring awareness (not a disease that people like to talk about) you can visit http://www.ccfa.corg/ I know there are many of you who suffer from some form of IBD...we are not alone!

Anyhow......back to the fun stamping...have I told you how much I LOVE the Cheep Talk set? So fun to work with....I just love it!!! Below are some pages/cards we made at our March Club Gathering! I wanted something bring and Springy.....sorry for the poor quality pictures lately..I have had to take them at night and they are just not turning out....

This page probably looks familiar to you...if not check a few posts ago...I did this same layout with the Sweet Always paper. I used the Rainbow Sherbet DSP and went with the colors in the paper for my main element and background! We also used the 3 flower punch to add a flower to the branch.
These were the 2 6x6 pages the girls who came with their moms to scrap for the Mom and Me scrapin club. We used the 1 3/8 in circle punch and the scallop circle punch to make the border. on the right page we also used the 3 flower punch along with a rhinestone brad.

Here is what the card club made this month.... Same idea as the page just transferred to a card! We used some green glitter for his wing...giving him some bling!

Just Hockey....

Well here is what I was up to this weekend! Julian hockey is coming to an end and they had an end of season party for the kids on Saturday after their scrimmage yesterday. We were all asked to bring something so I brought some cheese and pepperoni snacks (wish I would have taken a picture...so easy and kids love them) and then the cute treat bags below for the team. I put a couple GS Thin Mint cookiesin there...thought they resembled hockey pucks! I almost only put one cookie in each bag and saved the rest for me but I resisted! LOL At the brunch the kids were presented with a certificate and a metal...the picture to the left is Julian right after he rec his...he was trilled with the metal...he wore it the rest of the day and told anyone who would listen about it!
So the details.... I used 2 stamp sets for the bags...Sporting Goods and Just Hockey (retired) I also used my Big Shot Top Note die (perfect size for the small cello bags). I know your wondering why I picked the colors I did? Unfortunately those are the team colors...so I went with it! I snapped the picture as I was running out the door to hockey so the pics are not great but I wanted to share!

Another Good Egg...

It was so late last night when I posted the Good Egg Scrapbook pages and Glitter Window Technique that I forgot about this super cute card we did at my last Card Class! The idea was not my own...there is various versions of it around! You can't tell in this picture but we used the small Polka Dot texture plates on the pretty in pink cardstock. We colored the Egg in with our Stampin Pastels and cut it out! I am off to start my day! Hope your day is great!

A Good Egg Easter ideas...

Well it is very late but I wanted to post these quickly! These are some more Easter samples for you! These were done at our Scrapbook & Card club this month! The pictures are not the greatest I have ever took but the lighting stunk and the camera was not the best one!

The first is the 12x12 page. We used the FREE Sale-A-Bration Delicate Dots DSP across the top along with the scallop edge punch. We also wheeled the new wheel "Egg Hunt" from the sneak peak to the Occasions Mini (see here) We used versamark in the cartridge so it is hard to see in the picture. We cut a top note to put the cute lil' chick on and left some room for journaling on there!
These pages are 6x6 and the pages the girls did that came with their mom's to scrapbooking... The ladies have the option to bring their child to scrap each month!
This cute card was the card clubs technique for the month. The technique we used was the Glitter Window.....Hard to see in this picture...

Here is a close up so you can see the sparkle...not a great picture because I took it late and with my daughters camera and not my good one..

Cheep Talk!

I really LOVE this set! I have so many plans for it! This was a card we did at my last card class. I also demonstrated it at Kim's party last Sunday! It uses Cheep Talk set of course, it also used my fav DSP, Sweet Always along with 5/8in grosgrain, 3 flower punch and silver brads. Don't you wish there were pink birds? I do....with this stamp set I can have any color bird I want! Yep I can ! LOL

I also thought I would share this scrapbook page. My good friend Tricia Bloomfield shared with me once the idea of taking a card and opening it up and using it on your scrapbook page! I had forgotten about it til recently....it is PERFECT! This is exactly what I did below at Kim's workshop. Kim was so awesome, she had pictures and journaling on it in no time! I wish I would have taken a picture of her page after she put the pics and journaling on! Kim is an awesome scrapbooker! Anywho.... it is perfect because you have your main decorative element and a mat for a picture! Just add your pictures around and some journaling and your done!I added a 3x12 strip from the Sweet Always DSP to tie it all together and you have a fast and beautiful page! What do you think?

Well my last post said it had been a long day, this one should be titled...Been a Long WEEK! Shew! I had such good intentions but then I got sick... I am better know (thanks for asking :) thank goodness! I have so many things to share! A few more things from our last group demonstrator meeting, a couple things from my last card class and some workshop projects I did at Kim and Heather's parties! Thanks Kim and Heather for inviting me in their homes and sharing! We had a good time and they got lots of free because it is still Sale-A-Bration....but not for long it ends March 31st! Still time but not much! It really is my favorite time of the Stampin Up year for FREEBIES! On to the sharing!

This little gem was a card we did at my last card class. The card uses the Sale-A-Bration set called Botanical Blossoms. Not my orginal, but I can't remember where I CASED it from! I am so good at copying and tweeking but not so good at giving credit where credit is due! So if this looks like something you made let me know!
This cute little treat was made by my friend and upline, Anne Miller. She shared this at our last demonstrator meeting. Super cute little treat using the Top Note Big Shot Die, makes the perfect topper for the our small cello bags.
This is a cute card that was shared at our last meeting. I am not sure who the designer was, but it was great She used the free sale-a-bration set Polka Dot Punches, my favorite sale-a-bration set this year!
Now this was a way cute basket shared by Tamie Ackerson at our last group demonstrator meeting.
Def adorable! she used the free Delicate Dots DSP that is also a free sale-a-bration set! She used one of my favorite new stamp sets cheep talk! I can't stop using this set! perfect for cards and scrapin! Stay tuned for tomorrow's post...I will show you a card and scrapbook page I did with it!

been a long day

I have to say I am pooped! But it was a fun day! We had so much to do today and then the Lady's came over for the card class.... I should have taken pictures of them stamping...I always forget! Anyway I have been stamping and scraping alot lately! So much fun... so keep checking back I have lots to share! Last night we had our demonstrator monthly get together and here was one of our make n takes!

Isn't it just the cutest! This little box is made from the Big Shot new die, Box #2. This thing was amazing. It is all one piece and you just need a tiny little bit of sticky strip to hold it together! It comes out of the Big Shot cut and scored! We used the FREE Sale-A-Bration DSP Delicate Dots and then stamped the Bunny from the new set from the soon to be released Occasions Mini Catalog, called Eight Great Greetings. Sale-A-Bration Ideas.. Lovin the FREE Stamps!

This is my favorite time of year....ok anytime anything is FREE is my favorite time, Right? LOL Here are some samples I came up with. A couple were from my last card class. With every $50 you spend you can choose from 1 of 4 free stamps sets, a ribbon bundle or a huge pack of designer paper! What is best is that is if you spent $100 you can pick 2! So it is every $50 and no limit! Whoo Hoo! Hostess are lucky this time a year because they can earn them for FREE on top of everything else they get for hosting! The first one uses 2 of the free sets. Polka Dot punches and Congrats, both FREE during Sale-A-Bration. I also used the Delicate Dots designer paper. Don't you just love the Flag look? Granted you can't send it in the mail this way but it would be super cute on top of a present or just to sit on a co-workers desk... I also used the paper piercer along the the bottom of the scallop. Really simple card and prettier in person for sure!

This next one was one I was not sure about until I got it and started to play with it! The set is called Botanical Blooms and is also a FREE Sale-A-Bration set. I used the scallop circle die in my Big Shot with my Delicate Dots designer paper (also a FREE SAB prize) Don't you love the vase? I used the large oval punch and cut the top off at an angle and the bottom off. I put a some dots on there with my White Gel Pen (LOVE that thing!) for decoration and also put a white do in each of the scallops.

While we are talking about FREE stamp sets I thought I would share a couple cards I made with new hostess sets...

This first one is cute... it is a 3x3 card. The cupcake is from Darling Dots (level 1) and the phrase is from Sweet Little Sentiments (also Level 1). I used my White Gel Pen on the scallops for some added decoration. I also put some Crystal effects on the Chocolate part of the cupcake but it doesn't show up in the picture.

This last one is also a hostess set called A Little Somethin', which is a Level 2 set. I think of all of them this is my favorite. Why??? Because it works so well with all the punches! You seen the heart in my post from the Valentine treats. this card uses the star from the set which fits in the Lg Star punch PERFECT! It is a MUST have in my book! I also used the new texture plates on the kraft paper for the background. But of course I can not get that to show up in my picture well. If you click on the pic to make it bigger that may help you to see the background.

Party Hearty Scrapbook page!

Happy Thursday! Thursday's are happy days for me because it is my day off during the week from my other job! Which is really never a day off, always filled with appointments and other things! Today the kids and I went to the dentist then later I took Taylor, my oldest to a fun sewing class with her girls scout troop! But before the day is over I wanted to share these pages with you! My good friend and club member Kaye made these and graciously said I could share them with all of you! I LOVE what she did with this set! Party Hearty is my favorite Birthday set... so many possibilities with this set! Kaye used a few different colors of Bold Bright markers to make the colorful hats! Such a simple and fun layout! Thanks for sharing Kaye!

I received these in the mail yesterday from my up -up line,Ronda Wade. I love getting gifts in the mail! She sent me these two beautiful card samples along with a pack of the New Corduroy Buttons and Brads! First Card uses the Sale-A-Bration Set you can get for free through the end of March, Polka Dot punches... This is my favorite FREE Set this year!

The next Sample uses the Button in the pack and she added some of the new white Organza Ribbon and the new Eyelet Border punch along the bottom as well! She also used one of my favorite stamp sets Spot on...

Here is one more share for today! Below are the 2 pages the girls in the Mom & Me Scrapbook Club made this month! So cute and Springy! We used the new FREE SAB (Sale-A-Bration) Polka Dot Punches stamp set, So Saffron ribbon from the FREE SAB Bundle along with the Delicate Dots DSP also FREE during SAB! I took a close up of the flower element. We stamped the flower in Close to Cocoa on Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery, then used the 5 petal flower punch to punch them out. We used a couple petals to make leaves and finished it off with the New Colored Flower Brads (these are also in the Embellishment share!) Fun, Fun!

LOL I have heard that phrase so much in the last few days! It makes me happy! I had patients all day yesterday at work tell me that when they were leaving. I think it is sweet more people are saying it to people other than their sweeties! Anyway....I thought I would share with you some treats I made for Shelby's Daycare workers and kids she goes to daycare with. I took the pictures on the fly yesterday morning so they are not that great but good enough for you to see! I was so excited about making these little cones. You will learn how to make one at my up coming Sale-A-Bration and New Catalog Class if you come on the 21st. See post for details. There was confusion on when this class was from some of you. It is the 21st and you can come when it is convenient for you...anywhere from 9:30 am to 3pm.

WOW....they are so cute!! I used the new texture plates for my Big Shot that give the a dry embossed design, which is so hard to see in pictures but amazing in person! We will be playing with is on the 21st too! The stamp is from a new Level 2 Hostess set called A Little Something.It is my favorite hostess set I have played with so far! Why......because it coordinates and works with our punches!! Of Course! I love punches....these little treats were so easy and quick thanks to my Big Shot and my punches! I used the new Lg Heart Punch with the Lovey Dovey stamp from the set! I also used some new Flower Brads to jazz them up a bit!

These were what I made for the other kids in Shelby's daycare. They are all toddlers so they couldn't have candy. So I found these little crackers for them. I just wrapped a belly band of pink pirouette designer paper around them and decorated them with a punched hart from the hostess set, stamped in Riding Hood . Then I punched a small flower from the 3 small flower punch and attached with a silver brad. very simple and easy....to be honest with you I made 8 of them in about 10 minutes yesterday morning before I left for work, because I fell asleep early the night before! I wrote "Love, Shelby. XOXO" right on the belly band. It is hard to see in the picture.

Big Shot Love You Much Treats!

Ok I already told you how much I LOVE my Big Shot...So imagine how much fun I had making these treats! You can too! These are the treats from the Love You Much Bundle Class that you can make on January 31st!! I wanted to share better pictures of them though and give you some ideas if you already have the Big Shot...

These little FAB pouches were soooooo fun & easy and will be the treats my kids and I will make for thier class Valentines. They already voted on these because they get to use the Big Shot. They love that thing too! They are always begging to cut something with it! You can get 6 of these cuties out of a 12x12 sheet of paper. Cut your Candy Lane Designer paper 6x4. Fold up a bit (I just eyeballed it) then put it on the Big Shot Top Note Die (an exclusive SU one) and ran it through! Then I wrapped some ribbon around and added a stamped image. These are great becuase they will hold a variety of different candies

These are the super cute Treat bags. The Top Note Die makes a perfect topper for the small cello bags. Just run though your cardstock through the Big Shot and then fold the cut paper in half and you have an instant topper. I ran some Candy Lane Designer paper though the Big Shot and cut it in half and adhered to the front...

These little Gems are also a 6x4 piece Designer paper. You can put a snack sized Kit Kat or Hersey's bar inside then wrap your paper around and adhere. Use your crimper for finished edges and add a tag. Super easy.....

I am usually a "Simple" Stamper and but I designed these treats even more simple than usual so kids can do them. Not a lot of coloring, just stamping, punches and LOTS & LOTS of my favorite GLITTER: Dazzling Diamonds!!

Love You Much Bundle Samples!

I wanted to share some better pictures of the projects from the up coming classes on January 31st and some ideas for the Love You Much Set and Bundle! I got out my "good" camera (my Rebel XTI..Love this camera my husband surprized me with a couple years ago!) and took advantage of some natural light!

I was re-reading what I wrote about this Valentines Stamp-A-Stack and I think I was confusing....I made these cards so that a picture could be added like I have done above. put a big picture in there or 2 wallet sized side by side. But if you just want some cards with a Love theme for Anniversary's, Weddings, to tuck in your kids lunches, to give send a note to your husband thought out the year ect...these are great for this too...Just write where you would put the picture!

Here is another card...It had a Gate fold opening. And the one below is probably my favorite because I used the Big Shot Die Cutting machine! I don't think I have shared how much i LOVE this thing. .Not only is it fun to use it makes your project go together so quickly! So far the Top Note Die used below is my favorite and is so versatile... The picture below is the outside and included my favorite ribbon....Riding Hood Red Taffeta..Love that stuff..so pretty with the white edges

Now here is the inside of the card...I have been decorating the insides of my cards too...I have seen a few others doing it and just love the look! So for this card you can put a strip and make a pocket for smaller pictures like I have done below..or you can adhere a larger picture and putting the medallion in the corner of your picture. Or no picture at all and add a great and how about some movie tickets or gift card for dinner for your sweetie???

Hope this gives you a better idea of the cards for the Stamp-A-Stack listed in the post below. I have some better pictures of the treats and other fun things I have been making with this bundle! Let me know what you think, I love feedback!!!

This is was a cute shaker card I did for my Card Club ladies! We used dimenitionals behind a window sheet, added some chunky sprinkles (or you can use beads) for a fun shaker card! I made this personally for a little girls birthday! Cute and fun!!!

This was a page we did at my Scrapbooking Club a few months back. (want to join? I have a new one starting in Feb!!) Halloween is a commin!!

It has been so much fun preparing for Halloween this year! I can hardly believe it will be here on Friday though! Below are some treats I made for our annual Pumpkin Party. The kids invite their friends and we carve and decorate pumpkins, eat, play games and go on a fun hay ride. I thought I would share the clay pots I decorated to put my fun pretzels in! Just some normal clay pots with a strip of Ghostly Greetings designer paper with some ribbon and my current favorite Halloween Set, Batty for you!

Hello!! Here are the cards from my most recent Stamp-A-Stack.. The ladies had a lot of fun cratieng 3 of each of these cards on Sunday. Some ladies (12 of them) from church also did these cards for a private stamp-a-stack last Thursday night. I look forward to doing more of these, they all really liked leaving with 12 cards and envelopes ready to send out!

I am working on finishing up my samples for my up comming Holiday Giftables Camp next Wed and the huge Gift Giving Extravaganza on Nov 22nd. Mark the date cuz you won't want to miss them!

To ME! Just kidding, not today at least! Unfortunately I did have a Birthday recently but I also have a lot of friends with October Birthdays and I thought I would share some cards I made for them. I also demonstrated this set at my party on Monday at my fab Hostess Kaye's house! (HI Kaye!) My favorite Birthday set is Party Hearty,and best of all it is on sale this month too for 20% off!! Whoo Hoo! This was one of the 1st purchases I made from the New catalog when it came out in August! This stamp set is really fun and easy to stamp with! What is not to love about cupcakes and party hats, they make me happy (esp the cupcakes, choc. ones!)! Did I mention I love cupcakes!
The one on the right doen in the Regal Rose cardstock,is the one that I demo at Kaye's Party on Monday. The other is with Pumpkin Pie Cardstock as the base. For all of the cards I cut off about 3/4 in after I folded my card stock in half and used the new Scalloped Edge Punch down the side, which is hard to tell from my pictures. I had to take them with my camera phone due to time constraints. So trust me, the edges are scalloped and most beautiful! LOL I cut a 5 1/2 x 1 1/2 piece of one of my favorite double sided designer paper, Sweet Always and attached it on the side I cut off. Then toped mine with some Dazzling Dimaonds gliter becuase no cupcake is complete with out sprinkles! This is a better close up picture of one of the cards, so you can see the scalloped edge. They are all the same design just with different color combinations. I used the colors of the designer paper to guide me! As I do often! Makes it all soooooo easy esp if you color challenged like me!
Here is another one with the same set using the party hats stamp from the set! I also used wish big from a set called Short and Sweet. The party hearty set does have 2 sayings in it but this was handy!

Last but not least is the cute little party favor bag I made to match! All using the same colors, designer paper and supplies! I used the Large Oval punch for the little handle and tied some wide regal rose grosgrain ribbon on the top to pretty it up!

Come join me on Sunday, Oct 26th & enjoy a fun afternoon of stamping! Make some projects to give to some special goblins or come make a slew of treats to share with the neighborhood or your child's class! I just love fall!!! I love seeing the leaves turn colors (Pumpkin Pie, More Mustard and Really Rust, of course!) and I love the weather. Don't get me wrong I LOVE Summer but I also love jeans and sweatshirt weather, hayrides, Halloween, spiced apple cider, corn mazes, halloween treats(couldn't leave those out!) and all the fun things that come along with fall! Happy Thursday! Well Thursdays are always a happy day for me! It is the day I have off during the week!!! Today we are off to get some groceries, stop at the local mall to see what they have for the kids (maybe me too!) and then off to Shelby's 1 yr check up! It will be just Shelby and I, as the other kids are at school!!!

So here are some shares for you using the Bella Rose paper! Stay tuned!!! I am going to be sharing some Halloween stuff along with some classes I am working on for Fall soon! I LOVE Halloween. I love everything about it, decorating for it, picking out & making Halloween Costumes, our Halloween party we have, the school parties, making treats, carving pumpkins and best of all........... The CANDY!! LOL you didn't think I would leave that out. Ok there is one thing I don't like about Halloween, its the weather that comes after it!! BOOOOOOO! This was a page done by the ladies in my Scrapbooking Club last month. I also usedit for display at the big demonstrator get together we had last Saturday that I keep talking about! I was inspired by a page in the new Idea Book & Catalog you can see it here . I have to say the new online catalog is so AWESOME! There are so many ideas on there and so easy to find!! this page used the Dreams DeJour stamp set & Bella Rose Designer paper along with the scalloped edge punch, all NEW!!!
Here are some samples that my friend and wonderfully talented downline Tricia Bloomfield made for out get together. Here display was new accessories. You can see a variety here such as the new double sided satin ribbon (one side is Kiwi Kiss and the other vanilla), Bella Rose paper, Riding Hood red taffeta ribbon and more! She did a great job!

Shelby's Frame

Here is a quick share before I head off for the day! I shared Shelby's 1st year pics with you awhile back. Well here is what I did with some of them. This is just a cheep $2 frame from Wal-Mart. I added some Sweet Always new designer paper to one opening and shtamped her name with the Schoobook Serif Alphabet set. I had her pics turned black and white then took my pretty in pink stampin write marker with the brush end and colored in her flower! They turned out so awesome! You have to make sure your pictures are Matte finish for it to work!

Been Gone A Long Time & Hawaiian Papya Paper

I have been gone a long time! This last part of Summer really went so fast and was so busy!! The kids are off to school last week and things are getting back to normal (if there is a normal in our house!)

So what is new!! More like what isn't new! LOL I had my New Catalog Open House a couple weeks ago, we all had a great time and they had tons of fun shopping from my retired sets and picking out FREE New product from the New Catalog & Idea book! I wish I had some pics from the event to share but I don't. I do have the project they made, I will get those posted soon.

On to what have I been up to since then? Stampin my head OFF! LOL No really I was crazily making scrapbook pages for an awesome 12x12 scrapbook swap with some fellow demonstrator friends which was Fabulous I might add! I will share some with you I am sure! I was also having so much fun playing with the New double sided designer paper from the New Catalog! We had an awesome demonstrator get together over the weekend. Picture 80 crazy stampin fanatics in one small township hall! I created a display for the event featuring the new designer paper. There were other displays from some other talented demonstrator friends as well as great new product demonstrations including the new Die Cutting machine the Big Shot, can't WAIT to get mine! What a fun day, next time you should join me as my guest. Why would you want to come if your not a demonstrator? Because it is a day full of new ideas, fabulous make-n-takes, great displays, great people, swapping, door prizes and so much more! I am currently at the rollerskating rink watching the kids skate! What a FUN day & more swaps!

****This says I posted this on Friday, 8/8 but I posted this REALLY late Thursday!

Well today was a fun day! It went by so fast! We started our day at Vacation Bible School. I dropped the 2 older kids off at church and then Shelby & I went over to my friend Susans's for an hour or so til it was time to pick them up! Then we raced off to meet my friend and fellow demonstrator, Laura at McDonalds playland so our kids could play and I could see all her goodies from Convention. Laura went to SU national convention last week and she was nice enough to bring her swap cards and all her goodies for me to see (and take pics of!) We had a great time cataching up! What a great friend she is! If not for SU Laura & I would have never ment! SU is GOOD in so many more ways than just paper and ink!

Also, I got my very own copy of the NEW CATALOG & IDEA BOOK! WHOO HOOO!! Mine still did not come but luckily my friend Melissa rec hers so I raced over there tonight to get one from her (Thanks Melissa!) I am going to post a few pics on here and go bury my head in that beautiful NEW Catalog & Idea Book. I will be sure to grab a towel to wipe the drool! LOL Just kidding but the bit I did see yesterday my wish list is going to be huge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here are some samples using the set Unfrogettable that is retiring (Last day to order 8/10)! This is one of my favorite sets! It is so versatile! The 12x12 page is one that my scrapbook club made this month. The 2 smaller 6x6 pages are pages the daughters of my club members made. Then there is the matching card that was from my card class last Thursday. Don't you love how they all match! I got the idea for the 12x12 page from another demonstrator and just changed the colors and added some accessories like the felt flowers (flower fussion) and the colored brads as well as the crystal effects on their eyes. I had a great time making these projects, those frogs make me happy and will be missed! Maybe cuz they are not real, because real ones I am NOT fond of, only from a distance.......

Well at this point in my day I planned on drooling over my new Fall/Winter Catalog & Idea book but my cases I ordered did not come! I checked my front porch when I got home and no ups box..... Went to my Stampin Up Demonstrator monthly get together and came home and looked again, NO BOX! It had better come tomorrow, can't wait to look at it. I did get a peak of it tonight when we got together! So I will share some pics I took of some swaps my upline rec'd at convention! What is a swap you ask? Well there are many types of card swaps some are organized some are a swapping frenzy! Basically you make multiples of at least one design, and you meet up with other demonstrators and trade or swap them with the ones they made! So when your done you come home with a ton of different ideas! Oh, did I mention how fun it is? It is a blast swapping and seeing different idea and meeting new people and seeing old friends! You didn't really think I come up with this all on my own do you? I am really not the creative. My only creativity is in coping and tweaking other peoples ideas! Occasionally I may have an original and I will be sure to let you know, it doesn't happen often! LOL Just another perk of being a demo or owning the starter kit! Pictures of her that is! Here are some shots of Shelby I took last week.... I know you were all intrigued to see what the heck I was talking about with the tutu's and hair bows! I had fun making this tulle dress for her and the hair bows are addicting. I also made her a fun fluffy pink ballerina tutu I am going to have her Bday pics taken in! I took these pictures out back in our field with my parents barn as a back drop and then the neighbors have a couple cool old wagon wheels I put her in front of. I am sure the neighbors who drove by while I was tromping around with Shelby in tow in her fufu dress wondered if I lost it! LOL I was just wandering looking for some good backgrounds! What fun it was though! I can't wait to get these printed and scrapbooked and a couple on the wall too!

Long time no post............ I am really sorry to leave you hanging! July consumed me, but just because I was not posting doesn't mean I wasn't stampin and scrapin! I have all kinds of things to share with you including SNEAK Peaks to the new catalog and what is to come!! So what have I been up to you ask???? We I have been (in no particular order) making presents for baby showers, scrappin with my Scrapbooking Club, Stampin with the ladies who attended my Card and Scrapbooking Class(if your on my email list you should have heard about this), keeping up to date with the Stampin Up Convention, preparing for Shelby's 1st Birthday(yes my baby is turning one!), making Shelby Fun new hair bows and tutus for her 1st Bday pics and just to wear and be pretty :), visiting the local fair, chasing Shelby (yes she is walking, sometimes running!), taking the kids swimming at my sisters, Celebrating our 10th wedding Anniversary!, taking my oldest Taylor to all the parades she has been in with her princess court duties (looking pretty waving from the back of a convertible!),working my day job, loosing weight(whoo hoo, 5.8 lbs so far, 20 more to go :( , journaling in my WW food log(wow that takes up alot of time, who knew I ate so much though LOL), talking my husband out of buying a motorcycle (didn't work)and so much more! Shew I am pooped just typing it all!

So on to some news: Stampin Up just rapped up it's National Convention where 6000 crazy stampers came together for new ideas, training, the new catalog and to kick off Stampin Up!'s 20th Aniversery year! Wahooooooo!! I was unable to go this year but thanks to some demonstrator friends I was kept up to date and can't wait to share with you want is coming our way!!! Watch for that news in the coming days!!!!

Below is something I made for a patient at work who just had a baby. She is a sweet first time mom to a beautiful little boy! I made this little accordion envelope album with the boy Simply scrappin kit. It went together sooo easy and was fun to do! There was really no thinking involved, the scrappin kits are great, everything matches! All supplies can be found in the kit except the ribbon. I packaged it in a stampin up gift bag, attaching the card to the front with a clear envelope from Stampin Up! I also included a SU Glue Stick because I was not sure if she would have adhesive and I included the best pacifiers in the world! Shelby loves them and they smell like Vanilla and will be included in all baby gifts I give in the future(they are the Gum Drop Pacifiers if your wondering, you can only order them online)!The card is made with an adorable all occasion set that will be retiring called Year after Year. I stamped the elephant on some of the designer paper in the kit and cut it out, that is how I got the pattern on the little guy!
